What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We offer free cancellation up to 30 days before your check-in date. Cancellations within 30 days are subject to a 50% charge. Within 7 days, stays are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance for added peace of mind.

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available depending on availability — just ask!

Yes! Fernwood Hills is a four-season retreat. Our cabins and suites are heated and comfortable in every season — from lush summer escapes to cozy winter getaways. Each season brings a different character to the forest.

Every space includes high-speed WiFi, fresh linens, towels, and basic toiletries. Our suites have full kitchens with cookware and dishes. Glamping cabins include a private fire pit, BBQ, and year-round heating. All guests have access to 40 acres of forest trails.

We offer three wedding formats: Elopement — $3,800 weekend / $3,200 weekday, up to 10 guests for the ceremony; Micro Wedding — $5,500 weekend / $4,600 weekday, up to 25 guests; and Ceremony Only — $2,500 weekend / $2,000 weekday. Manna food options are available by request and quoted based on menu, guest count, timing, and service style. Outside caterers are welcome. Inquire for details.

Fernwood Hills is designed for intimate weddings — elopements up to 10 ceremony guests, and micro weddings up to 25 guests. This intimate scale means every moment feels personal and unhurried.

Do you allow outside vendors for weddings and events?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We welcome outside vendors including caterers, florists, and photographers. All vendors must be approved in advance. We also provide a list of recommended vendors familiar with the property.

What types of retreats can I host?

We host corporate offsites, leadership retreats, wellness retreats, yoga retreats, creative workshops, and small group gatherings for up to 25 people. Most retreats are day-format — groups arrive in the morning and leave in the evening; multi-day programs return the next day.
